EBALAC project closure
At the end of August 2012 came the closure of EBALAC project(Etudes de la Biomasse Aérienne Ligneuse des forêts d'Afrique Centrale) implemented by Gembloux Argo-Bio Tech (GxABT, ULG) and Nature + within the forests managed by Pallisco. The objective of this project aimed at quantifying the carbon fixation in the Central Africa forests and at adopting price lists for big wood volume. The results pulled from this project could be possibly valued by Pallisco within the framework of the project REDD (Reduction des Emissions dues à Dégradation et à la Déforestation).
